SHARE 2009 & 2010 Warehouse Volunteer Calendars

We invite you to help out at SHARE's main office and warehouse during our monthly food distribution. It’s fun. It makes a difference. And you get lunch!

Come alone, with family, with friends or in a group. Everybody can help...there are tasks for most ages and all ability levels. You can see the schedule below, or click the following links to download the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) version of the calendars for 2009 and 2010.

Bagging Food	Count and bag produce into individual portions at raised tables. Stand or sit. School-age children with adult supervision who can count accurately and follow instructions are welcome.
Organic Produce	Package organic produce products along an assembly line. 15 people needed for this project. Ability to stay until project is complete. Finish times vary.
Making Loads	Pull cases of food from inventory to make loads ready for shipment. Ability to count, read, and follow instructions. Bending and some lifting may be required. Age 14 and up welcome.
Counting & Loading	Count food on loads to ensure accuracy and help move loads onto vehicles. Bending and some lifting are required. Age 14 and up welcome.
Lunch	A potluck lunch is served every day of SHARE’s distribution week, and breakfast on Saturday morning. Bring a dish to pass (optional), meet new people and learn more about SHARE.
