SHARE Wins
14 Carrot Gold Award
SHARE Wisconsin and its executive director Paulette Flynn were recently selected to receive the 14 Carrot Gold Award from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The award recognizes the efforts of individuals and organizations to promote consumption of fruits and vegetables.
In a May 29 press release, SHARE was recognized for increasing access to affordable fresh produce throughout the state by introducing its new online ordering system in late 2008. The state also singled out SHARE's new Mobile Market program for bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to underserved communities in the Milwaukee area. |

During the 2007-08 fiscal year, SHARE volunteers helped thousands of families save over $1.2 million on groceries, representing a 20% increase over the previous fiscal year. Over the years, SHARE has constantly worked to improve our offerings to the community. In response to member feedback, SHARE recently began distributing two new food packages, customized for our communities! Read below, order online or see our latest order form for details!
The BIG Value Package is perfect for large families. It is larger than the old Traditional Package and includes more items overall, a bonus item, and a deluxe produce assortment with at least 7 fresh fruits and vegetables. At $15, SHARE's new Mini Package is ideal for seniors and singles. It includes a smaller produce assortment and a selection of some of the items in the BIG Value Package. No bonus item is included. Click here to see a photo of a recent Mini Package.
