Chicken And Vegetables


Ingredients:
1-1/2 Tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Cup onions, chopped
1-1/2 pounds chicken drumsticks
10 ounces frozen green beans
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Melt the margarine in a heavy skillet, add the garlic powder and onions, and stir until blended. Cook over medium heat until tender; about 5 minutes. Set the onions aside in a small dish. Remove the skin from the drumsticks, and then cut the meat off the bones. Cook the chicken in the skillet over medium heat until it is cooked through and no longer pink in color; about 12 minutes. Set the chicken aside on a separate dish. Place the green beans and cooked onions in the skillet, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes or until the beans are tender. Add the chicken to the vegetable mixture and continue cooking until heated through; about 3 minutes. Serves 4.
