We are enjoying SHARE’s 25th Anniversary Year! We started in January by launching the SHARE Cares Food Fund to raise money to buy food for families who need a helping hand. So far the fund has enabled us to distribute food packages to hundreds of families! You have probably noticed the 25th Anniversary Special on the order form, which is an easy way to contribute to the fund.
Now we are gearing up for community celebrations at most SHARE host sites. That means we will have nearly 200 parties this summer and fall as a way to say thanks to all the wonderful people who have played a part in SHARE during the past 25 years!
In addition to the host site celebrations, on Saturday, October 2 from 1–4pm we we hold a Anniversary Open House here at our main office and warehouse in Butler, WI. Save the date—we would love to see you here!
Plus, 25th Anniversary SHAREwear is now available (see the What's New Page for details), and this fall we will have a fabulous 25th Anniversary Cookbook featuring recipes from some of the best cooks we know…SHARE members, volunteers and staff! The cookbook will be available for purchase at $10 on the November and December SHARE order forms.
Whether this is your first year with SHARE or your 25th, we thank you for being part of the SHARE family. Together, we make it possible for more than 20,000 people to save money on good food each month. Hundreds of volunteers give their time and talent to SHARE each month—that’s what makes our anniversary a celebration of community!
