Grilled Pork Sirloin


Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 medium green pepper, diced fine
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1.5 lbs. pork sirloin roast

Directions:
Thaw roast and prepare marinade several hours before cooking. In a medium-sized empty jar or freezer bag, combine soy sauce, green pepper, garlic, brown sugar, olive oil and ginger. Shake well until all ingredients are blended. Place pork sirloin roast in a small baking dish or bowl, drizzle marinade over and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. When ready to cook, drain and reserve marinade. Pre-heat grill until very hot, then place roast on grill and sear all sides at high heat. Reduce heat to medium and let cook for 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees for medium doneness or 170 degrees for well done. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serves 6.
