Ingredients:
2 medium apples
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 Cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tablespoons country style Dijon mustard
1 lb. ham steak
Directions:
Core the apples and cut them into slices 1/8 inch thick. In a large skillet, melt the butter or margarine until it sizzles, then stir in the brown sugar and mustard. Add the apples and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until they are tender yet still crisp (about 5-7 minutes). Place the ham steak in the same skillet and arrange the apples on top. Cover and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes or until the ham is heated through. Makes four servings.
