I am honored to report that the UW Hospital and Clinics Holiday Employee Charitable Gift Committee selected SHARE to receive a $5,000 donation! We are truly grateful for this award and offer our deep appreciation to all the UW Health employees who made it possible.
The committee focused their work on finding organizations that help with the fundamentals of a healthy life: basic needs and basic skills. They said, “We did quite a bit of homework, talked with many of our colleagues and are confident that your organization will do a lot of good providing for these basic needs with this contribution.”
I especially want to thank Monona host site leader Barb Zimmerman for nominating SHARE for this award. Barb is an employee of UW Health and was selected to serve on the UW Health Employee Charitable Gift Committee because of her service to the community through SHARE.
We accepted this donation on behalf of all our members and the wonderful SHARE volunteers who make it happen every month. This award is a tribute to all of your hard work and dedication to our communities.
