Every month before the crack of dawn, the dedicated drivers of Moodie Trucking, Inc. are on the highways heading toward SHARE host sites. Together they help deliver food to over 100 host sites in three states. Our partnership with Moodie and their drivers has been a key element in SHARE’s success for more than 20 years.
The special relationships Moodie drivers have with SHARE host site teams are unique. We hear stories of drivers braving all kinds of weather to make the delivery on time. Getting the semi trucks into a church parking lot is like threading a needle, but somehow they always get it done. We also hear about host sites baking cookies for the drivers during the holidays and other expressions of gratitude for a job well done.
