Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Tablespoons fresh oregano, coarsely chopped
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
Black pepper to taste
6 chicken drumsticks
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, oregano, garlic, olive oil, salt and lemon peel. Season this marinade to taste with black pepper, then pour into a large re-sealable bag. Add the chicken drums and seal, turning the bag to coat the chicken. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator overnight, turning occasionally. Heat grill to medium-high. Grill chicken for about 30 minutes, turning frequently until browned on all sides and cooked through. Serves 3-6.
